The aluminum bed is almost completed and it appears my camper will arrive on Friday afternoon.

The camper distributor manufacturer pretty much screwed me over on the camper and the delivery. Basically he’d never finished it and I had to finish a bunch of the things, but I’ll get into that later. I got the solar panels mounted and the air conditioner unit mounted on the roof and then got the camper mounted on the truck today. Still have to build out the inside. Do not buy a camper from Bison Overland Campers, is all I can say at this point- I’m too tired otherwise. It’s been a long day.

Even though there is a half inch bolt with 3 inch washers, top and bottom in all four corners, going through the camper floor and through a reinforced part of the aluminum truck bed. I decided because it’s only foam and fiberglass to add a turnbuckle to each corner. This gives me a bit of peace of mind, especially riding on rough roads. I used 8” eye bolts and they’re mounted into the 2x4 aluminum bed frame rail for structural support ..The gnome gnose….

Are you considering installing some boxes under the bed, but forward of the rear tires? Might be able to stuff a small portable inverter generator into one of them for transport.

Yes but likely at a later time. I need to address the interior buildout first.
