I learned my lesson with ruined head. Couple years earlier purge solenoid froze open. No damage just wasted 2#. I overlooked it and continued using NXpress solenoids. If I'd gone back to NOS, I doubt head would've been ruined.

Sorry haven't been on here much. Been busy as hell out in shop making tube doors. Last week was awesome! Even ordered me a 9.6" Lifetime Trails tablet. Okay, last couple of months in review (short version). Friggin LOVE the 814s!!!!!!!!!!! I was a critic for long time but I was wrong. Very wrong. If ya got the green, buy shocks. Trust me on that. Smoothest ride I've ever had. Oh, and my rig finally broke after 5086 miles. Got a sloppy wheel bearing. The End.

I've added leg bracing option to the doors. They've sold like hotcakes and are very nice. Gives your leg something to brace against during steep leans. For limited time, any forum member that buys a set gets bracing for free. Lead time is roughly 5 days to build. Get them before another customer posts theirs on Facebook or I'll run out of tubing really quick. Pm for price.

Close up. The rear section is now one smooth bend but let's you see bracing up close.

I meant end of my 2 month review. Love the shocks!!! Hate sloppy wheel bearing. Luckily it's a rear and easy to swap. The end (again)
I have forgot, what are guys using for skins if any?

Well is that a summer time door or do people put skins on them, you know, like to put stickers on! I guess I haven't been keeping up, whats the purposes of your doors other than to keep cooler? Not being a butt, but I forgot?

Oh okay duh that didn't even occur to me. Just cooler in warmer months. Don't know of anyone that has skinned one. @knuckledeep makes some fully skinned doors that look cool as hell. I stick with the naked look.

So, your saying the 814 shocks and limiters are a very good choice? You do seem pretty excited about them.

Have you used the Fox front shocks? Can you compare the two of you have.

I haven't used Fox on the front. I'd say they're very comparable though. The 814 is way way more adjustable. It has a setting for pretty much anything you can throw at it. And yeah pretty excited bout the shocks lol

Fox is perfect for people that want to run n gun right off the truck. 3 settings and done. Personally, I like playing with the knobs for fine tuning.
On a sidenote, never even noticed the fox I have on the rear til I swapped fronts. It's like an alarm clock went off. Rear is way smoother and more controlled now.
The faster I go, the smoother the ride.
