Debating on floor material. Thwn i noticed a 5x10 sheet of 18ga in back of shop. No sense in buying some exotic plastic when material is already available.

Im always wishing i had a place to hook a strap in the rear. That problem is what led me to doing this in first place lol

Gotta figure out how to mount rear section of my mudflaps. Got a very cool taillight mount coming soon too.

Finished welding tubes and boxed in latches. Tacked in front section of floor and test drove for rattles. Slight rattle so i went back and plug welded floor to support tubes. No more rattle.

Added some anti-rattle devices this morning.

This may be the most valuable bit on information I've seen on any build so far. lol

Everything on my pioneer rattles!!!!!!! The bed, the doors, and I can't adjust the locks to hold any tighter or else they just don't grab.

Great idea, and nice execution!

Wrap electrical tape around the the striker and that solves the door rattles.

For the dump bed, I moved the striker up by loosening the two bolt and that made it shut tighter. Sometimes I have to push down on the bed and push down on the bed dump and latch handle to get it to shut.

I was wondering why my door latches had old electrical tape remnants on them.. I guess this issue plagued all of the pioneers.

Also, I did what you suggested on the bed and it does work as described I must push the bed down and push on the handle to get it to close.. but it's pretty tight now. Thanks

Theres a very fine line when it comes to stopping rattles at bed latch. Too loose and it of course rattles. Too tight and bed flies open at 50mph going down the road (ask me how i know this). Those spring loaded feet work well against rattling. Plus theyre self adjusting. Just gotta be sure and slam it down hard. I played with several springs. Cant remember exactly where those came from.
