@Delton I sure like how much better that front bumper fits then it came. That's my favorite part of the front end now

You and me both. I know opinions are like arseholes (especially round here lol) but by far that's my favorite bumper. Just gotta make a rear to match.

Buddy I got Monday reserved to do just that. So hopefully Tues we can do yours. That's the plan anyways
I'm gonna try and install mine this weekend if I feel like it after work. If I do I'll be heading your way Monday instead

Wow y'all sure hear alot more stuff than me, maybe I ain't listening hard enough lmao. Joey I'm sure it was the sand that threw you a curve. I mean, when the hell do we ever play in sand? Not like Keith Springs mtn is full of it or anything lmao. Forgetting the brake is on might not be a problem. I habitually press the foot brake before even grabbing the shift lever. But don't fret, I'm sure there's some unknown calamity out there just waiting for me lmao.

@CumminsPusher did a really nice write up on installing one. I highly recommend one to anyone with a p1k. They are cheap (less than 50 bucks for actuator plus couple brake lines, fittings, etc) and easy to install. Really keeps your parking pawl from being in a bind when parked on an incline. I should've installed one months ago.

Put my roof back on and decided I wanted something different with my light bar. So I moved it lol. No more interference with the windshield now.

I like that position for the light bar, that's what I was thinking when I get to that point.

Don't leave it on while partying during late nights in a swamp and wonder why the p1k is pissed! Or so I've heard...

The looser the waistband the deeper the quick sand, or so I have read!

Sorry, had to say it! Your post reminded me of an old 80's hair band song from my younger daysHope it didn't offend anyone?

Okay before anybody judges, this was just a trial sample to see how it'd turn out. Yes it's ugly and the welds are far from my normal work. That being said......I've been wanting a rear bumper. Not much to choose from so I decided to try it myself. Want to use 3/4 or 1" square for the skeleton and skin it with 18ga. This is a corner section I threw together just to get an idea of how it'd work. Personally I'm happy with it. It's gonna take alot of time (something I don't have much of here lately due to fostering).
I only did the top portion of the corner. Finished bumper would be around 4" from top to bottom with a step in the middle (see last pic of one on my expedition. This is the step I'm after). So thoughts? Suggestions? Criticism is always welcome as well.

None of the square tubing will be visible in final product. All you will see is smooth sheet metal.
