P1000 Delton's painfully slow build

I like it, but not sure what kind of abuse that bash plate will handle.

I didn't want my welds to start rusting so I thought I'd spray it for now. Chose gloss black and wish I hadn't. The flat matched everything alot better. Anyways, some glamour shots lol.

I like it, but not sure what kind of abuse that bash plate will handle.

Their stuff if supposed to be tough as hell but who knows. Could always throw a piece of 5/16 or even 3/8" on there. Talk about feeling indestructible lol. It'd come in handy when I ride at @drfubar 's place. We run over alot of small trees. Could always mount one of those V shaped tree cutters I seen on YouTube. They mount to buckets on front end loaders. It cuts tree as you run over it. That'd be fun.

Finally got the picture I wanted to load on my cad program. Gonna play with rops angles and height to get what I want. Something this big deserves some research and planning. This is biggest job I've tackled so far and I want to be prepared.

Not sure how much pressure can be put on those mounts with the winch but should be enough to get unstuck.

CP measures beers drank in dog beers so I'm measuring days at work by toys I can purchase. Finished earning welder yesterday. Starting on plasma cutter today.

Nah wasn't planning on it. Let me gain some experience, then we will tackle it. We could add all the lift we wanted. Like I always say...The sky's the limit.

I'm gonna grab a brake and a tubing notcher while I got them on the phone lol. Brake to make some shielding for the front inner fender area.

Tonight I'm working on something I've been neglecting. The electrical. I mounted a fuse block left over from my dragracing days. Gonna power block with 40a relay feeding off the battery via inline fuse.

This is something long overdue. Currently under my hood is a friggin mess.

And lastly.....Sorry music lovers, but it's gotta go. I don't listen to it enough to justify keeping it. It's a great system for the money but if it's not being used, it's pretty much worthless.

Just ordered my tig and plasma cutter. Along with cart that'll hold both. Little over 1200 bucks. Should be here sometime next week. Plasma is on backorder til first of Feb.

Eastwood sent me an email that my cutter has shipped, but can't get tracking number to work. I'm ready to cut some sh*t up lol
