P1000 Delton's painfully slow build

Roller mount is done other than splatter cleanup and paint. I got lazy and didn't clean the pieces and paying for it with splatter beads everywhere. Anyways, removing winch so I can weld in winch plate. Fill in couple low spots, and she's almost ready for some krylon.

Almost final mock up. And I friggin LOVE it!!! Way better than I thought it'd turn out. What's the verdict?
My spare rack won't close now cause tire rubs. But I was gonna redo it anyways so taillights are visible. For Street use.

For the tire clearance to the bumper put a big scallop in the bumper to clear the tire.

One acronym I learned in the service I still use today...K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid lol. Yeah that would look cool but alot of work. I gotta redesign it anyways. I'll just mount it higher with the new one. Love the creative thinking you're laying down though.

This is pretty much it. Imagine couple of #4 welding cables connected to winch motor, cable on the spool, and paint. Voila!! Lol.
Probably won't get much more done til after New year's. 2 days off this weekend but it's Christmas. Then working straight til following Monday. Ain't complaining though. Cause that buys toys. The welding n cutting kind.

Ahhh, back in the day when I made overtime!! I can imagine you guys are doing a big maintainence turnaround next week - bunch of my customers are doing the same. I'm personally planning to be off all week, but that could change with a simple phone call and there will be no overtime pay included...

. I was salary for several years at last job. And on call 24/7. Hated overtime. Now it's gravy money lol. Hope to have couple grand to spend.

What are halls thoughts on the Precision Off-road front bumper? I thinks it's okay just a few quirks I'm not crazy about. Love that mean arse bash plate built in to it. I may have to try that sometime. Anybody got a Strongmade bumper they want to donate as guinea pig? Lol
