P500 Diagnostic code list?

Any one have service manual for Pioneer 500 that can tell me what a code is for. Blinks 4 times normal and 1 fast (41? ) When it throws the engine light and code it wont shift, doesn't seem to even attempt to shift. Tends to do after its been running a while. Let it sit a while or overnight and it goes away. Seems to run fine and shift fine until the check engine light come on.

Recall suggestions of doing a clutch adjustment as a first step with shifting issues. Have you seen this thread on shifting issues? Think someone had a gear position switch replaced. Good luck. P500 - Hesitant (paddle) shifting

It shifts great until the engine light comes on, then it doesn't even attempt to shift. Once code is comes up, you don't here the shift motor even attempt to shift.

I'll can adjust clutch, just hate to cause it shifts so nice now. I was thinking maybe a sensor is going bad, position sensor, angle sensor, or ???? I'll see if dealer can tell me what the code means if no one has that info. Also considered battery, seems to be fine though 11-12 volts starting, then 14 volts running

It started doing this several weeks ago, just did oil change in case level was off and it was due anyway. No change since service.

Kinda figured it would be a sensor. I'll start with replacing it.

The DTC 41 indicates a problem in the gear position switch circuit. 41-1 indicates a short in the circuit while 41-2 indicates an open. Evidently, the third digit is read by the dealers DTC analyzer. This info is from the 2015-2016 service manual.
