I swear that rear plastic decorative cover isn't any kind of fancy heat resistant plastic, the two metal heat shields behind it do the real work. Or we would all have melted rear ends! 😆

Just affix it like so below, carefully drill the proper size holes (5MM) and use the black Honda push pins to hold it in place.

Is that a plate for a full size car/truck? I just registered mine as a Medium Speed Vehicle here in TN, that's all I thought it could qualify for. Were you able to get a standard tag with none of the ridiculous limitations (i.e. 35mph max)?

This will answer your question:

I registered mine as a MSV so I can operate on TDOT maintained roads like 85 through Wilder. But the picture in your post shows a "Don't Tread on Me" plate that appears to be a full-size car/truck plate - I wasn't aware you could get specialty plates like that in any of the four (MSV, LSV, Class 1/2) tags available for SxS. If they are I'd like to get one.

That was a random picture, purely vanity as far as I know, this thread is on where to mount, not what it proper registration. Be guided accordingly.

This is what I do with my WI registration plate. We are required to have a 4x7 plate and side stickers. Clearly my rear tires bite the plate on the Pioneer but the Talon plate fits nice on the tailgate

You can’t get a Don’t Step on the Snek tag for a sxs in TN. You’ll have to get the Class 1 off highway one like Jackal pictured. You’ll be good on non state routes (county roads only) with a speed limit of 45mph or less.
