😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hey @dweber23tr welcome to the club!!!! We can help you with anything you'd like for you SXS

.......... @dweber23tr
I'll go stare at it some more this morning and see if I come up with anything. I figured ya'll would have some ideas. Up on the rollbar is no good, my backup camera monitor is there, my 8yro already thought of that! I may stop by Walmart and see what they have for car cell phone mounts to see if something like that would be easily used.

I'd have to sell another kidney to afford those, I already sold my other one to pay for part of the plow, they don't give them things away.

I'm not thrilled with reaching up with my left hand while plowing, but I opted for one of these.
Overhead-Mounted Switch Panel, 3-Gang - Crossroads 3D

It should fit just to the left of my backup monitor screen and keep things looking clean and depending on how I route the wires, since they have to be extended anyways for that location, I may not even need to put any holes in the dash. The wiring should just pull out of the current box once I cut the big connector off and then transfer over to the new panel and snap right in-I hope. Moose must have made a change to their product because in previous versions of their hydro kit, it was a joystick type remote, which would have been preferred. I could have set it on the seat next to me while plowing and then coiled it up in the glovebox when not in use.

I also ordered one of these

To make a quick disconnect for the wiring at the front of the vehicle, I can mount it to my light bar.

Any tips for pulling wire up from underneath the machine up behind the dash and into the under hood compartment or best spot to pull through? Between the wiring for the plow controller and rear winch with remote plugin and dash mounted rocker switch I have 15 or so 14 gauge wires + 2, 6 gauge wires for the winch, to route from the under hood down behind the dash and under the vehicle and around. I started pulling and coming up on the driver side as that is where everything will terminate in the cab or otherwise but when coming through the dash area it puts things closer to the steering gears and shafts than I felt like I could tie up safely to keep it out of the way. Its going to suck to do so I'm trying to do it once!

I also have a dual battery setup to go in at the same time.

I might have an idea.

There is a box where the air intake "protector" is what if you did the under hood snorkel, then in the open space where the "protector" was could you drill a hole large enough to pass your wires up through from the side of the passenger radiator area and then terminate into the dash.

I am not totally sure off the top of my head if there is enough space there but I thought it might give you room for all of those wires.

The rollbar mounted box did not work. Unfortunately it would have been like trying to stuff 15 gallons of crap in a 5 gallon bucket. Inside the control box was relays also and all of the connectors on the switches were at 90 degrees and I would have had to of reterminated everything to straight connectors, plus found a different spot for the relays. The rollbar mounted switch box was a quality product though. I ended up using a 5" wide muffler band clamp and bending it to fit around the rollbar and drilling a couple of holes in it for studs to mount the factory box it came with and then used over 100ft of wiring to extend everything back around the roll cage, down under the seat, under the vehicle and then up to the front again.

I also added a dual battery/isolator setup and finished the wiring for the rear winch to the auxiliary fuse box. While running the wiring for the winch I knocked the duct work off of the dash vent and had to take that off to reconnect it and add the dual battery gauge.

The fuse box mount for where I mounted the fuse box also has the stinger and rear winch solenoid mounted to it. Like everything else I used what I had. I also put a bilge fan under the seat for the heat issues in the cab.

All of that was about 2 weeks of working on it as time allowed. I was saving the wiring work for a one time painful experience. One more to go for when I add a wiper kit when $$ allow. I just started working on cab sealing for winter. Filled in the front dash/roll bar corner with foam rubber. The picture is blurry, but how are people sealing gaps like this behind the cab on the mid panel? Was thinking gorilla tape? Also is Rad Customs still in business for shifter covers? Been trying to get a hold of them for a month to ask a question and can't get anyone. I tried to use a generic leather shifter boot like others on here have but was not successful in getting it to stay tucked in the dash.

Nice work, @dweber23tr!

I see you're in the land of 10,000 lakes (and plenty of cold and snow). I would be prepared to replace that Stinger. Moisture gets in it and then freezes up. Cole Hersee makes a marine rated relay (24117-01-BP) that keeps the moisture out, which means it's much less susceptible to this issue.

@Scoop , thanks for the heads up. I will be sure to watch for that. I also forgot to attach the front plow wiring setup. I mounted this old school 4 wire trailer plug to the front for an easy on/off connection for the snow plow.

The only thing you're missing on that 2023 Pioneer is an 8-track player and graphic equalizer! Don't forget to flip the air cleaner cover upside down, either! 🤣

After doing some hunting and using hard cases rolling around in the bed, after a couple of days that was it. They are too noisy and clunky to take guns in and out of. With firearms deer season starting tomorrow, I bought the Sieizmik 2 gun holder. I did not like the fit as it did not fit snugly against the back of the seat. So I did what @Swampmonkey here did and cut a wedge out of the back to make it fit better.

I also picked up a roll of 48x72" 1/4 rubber mat from fleetfarm for a bed liner, too much crap falling down between the gaps in the bed for the seats. This is easily removable and held in place by the strapped down tool box. For now I left extra around the edges for a lip.

I also got this in the mail today. Need to figure out how to wire it because I don't have the oem fuse box. If anyone has ideas on that see this thread or post here

I finished the wiper install. All said and done I am disappointed with the honda washer/wiper as others said I would. The sweep of the wiper could be better, but my biggest issue is the switch not being backlit, even when on. The switch appears to have the plug on the back for it and the switch cover is one that would be lighted, but no led in it. Honda cheaped out. I was able to get the washer reservoir under the seat in the factory location even with the inferno heater. It fits, maybe a thickness of paper between the two.
