I’m preparing for our first Montana winter. Our current rental’s driveway is gravel and pretty large. Our home under construction has a 150 yard double track ranch road from the gate which will have gravel on top.

I’ve looked at the UTV/ SxS web sites for plows and winches. Any lessons learned you can share with me?

BTW I’m budgeting $1,000 including the winch.

This is do'able.

The denali Pro series is your ticket. It will allow you to do full circle without stopping rolling the snow off to the side.

I will post MSRP pricing up here in a few and then shoot u a HondaSxS Club Only price.

It would be a honor to help with with a plowsetup.

I do a lot of research before I make a purchase.
I looked for months.
In the end, HondaSXS, was the best option, for an education.
I ended up with a better set up and spent $200 less than I would have spent without his advice.

I’m in contact with HondaSXS. Thanks!

What’s folks recommendations on a winch size? While I could go with a 2500# for plowing, I want one that will get me or somebody else pulled out in the mountains. Better to go 3,500 or 4,500? It’s only money. :)

That is the limiting factor. $$
I'd see what going larger will do to your budget and decide accordingly.

I haven’t placed an order yet, but for others who come across this thread, HondaSxS is really knowledgeable and his pricing is better than the Honda dealer or UTV/ATV accessory web sites I checked.

Thanks.

What color - Red, Yellow, Black
Push tube - Standard, Extended, Need a Pushtube liftkit ???
Mount - Bottom mount, Mid-mount, Front mount ???
Need an electronic turn system ???
Turn system switch - Standard or flush-mount ???
Need a Pully kit - Standard or Widespool ???
Do you have an aftermarket bumper ???
Side markets ???
Rubber flap ???
Blade type - Metal or polly ???

Need a winch?
Size - 3500, 4500, 5000, 6000 ???
Line - Cable or Rope ???
Line color - Red, Black, Blue, Orange, Green ???
Which mount choice ???
Winch switch - Standard, flush-mount, or Premium ???

This one won't fit with that!!!

I have a 60" standard Moose blade with the RM4 front mount. A 2000 lb Warn winch. I did have to purchase the pulley system for my winch cable to slow the speed of the plow. I also purchased tire chains. Total investment of 900$ This is everything and more I hoped it would be. I highly recommend the RM4 mounting system. This machine is absolutely wonderful!
