Electric "stuff" may not be an answer, but it can be a first step. Fwiw i made a lot of money in the timber industry and i full well understand the unwillingness of the preservationists to consider anyone else. Am i hearing the same thing here
I think what your hearing is "if it is so good it will sell itself." Also quit cramming it down our throats by slamming your virtue signaling, often devoid of any critical thought, political mandates on our choices. I would submit that most of the folks on this board are technically inclined, and open minded enough to evaluate the merits of battery tech and decide for themselves without some political hack telling them what's good for them.
A major utility solar player (actually the customers) here in CO is paying 41 mil to get out of solar contracts because the massive solar farm in the San Luis Valley is a complete failure. The same folks who screech about soil bacteria being disturbed by UTVs cast a blind eye to predatory windmill bird choppers, and focused beam solar bird incinerators. Perhaps we can make electric utv charging stations in the outback from savaged parts from all the completely failed solar farms that now have to have all their toxic components disposed of. Naw, they would find a reason to hate that too.
This is coming from a person who has lived the off grid life for over 20 years on solar and done tons of stuff in the energy conservation field.
