Sometimes I get a check engine code of 2 long and 9 short blinks. Does anyone have an idea of what this means?

Consider joining our club as a lifetime member, we have a pdf of the service manual available. I believe the membership is discounted until year end.

I am not very good at maneuvering around this forum, so if that helps, thanks. Thank you and Snuff for all your help. Next job will be digging into the buggy and figuring out the code issue.

I had the a website saved that sold pins and pliers.
If you into my profile and find the thread i started about fuel injectors, i may have posted it there.
If not, i will check my pc at work tomorrow and see if i still have it saved.

Did not see website info for pins on your thread about injector issues. Did i read it correctly when you said Honda may want to change harness for bad plugs?

Correct, the proper repair according to my dealer is replace entire harness. My dealer was zero help on my issue due to diagnosing it myself.

Edit, hit up ebay and look at used harness pictures to see if you can find a cheaper harness to rob connectors from. Africa twin should have an iacv valve. Might be able to buy a small section and replace entire plug.

Edit 2.
Here is the connector in the club store

Pins should be universal across many lines from same manufacturer. Wouldn’t hurt to have 10-20 spare pins and seals for future use.

I believe they are called molex pins, should be able to get remove and install tools for the housing.

That is a cool site, think @cwalton needs the Yazaki 1.5 system. Go to By application/use and pick the connector.
We used to have a electronics store local that you could walk into and get anything. It was great.
