I just got home so I could finally watch your video. That is awesome!!!!! I love the sound! Were you lifting when you were shifting or just holding it to the floor? Definitely seems snappy. Thank you so much for this post!

I was just getting ready to ask about the hangers. So you pretty much put the new hanger where it needed to be so that the pipes would line up?

I don't see why a big bore kit for the 500 atv's wouldn't fit lol. Idc about top speed I just need a little more power, 3rd gear just ain't got it for going through a big mud hole an there's just not enough momentum in 2nd lol

I could see the cat really holding back. I'd say if you just cut it out an left the stock muffler you'd notice a big difference

True enough, but then you loose the spark arrester, a must on BLM/NFS trails. Though that's not likely an issue in southern Ohio.

Actually, I believe the spark arrestor is located at the back end of the muffler. Ever noticed the plug on the bottom of the muffler? Periodically you're supposed to remove that plug and rev the engine. This cleans the carbon out of the spark arrestor. I don't believe gutting the cat would have any effect on the function of the spark arrestor, but I suppose I could be wrong.

Or I could be, it's just what I was told here when I asked about it!!

I contacted Supertrapp about making an exhaust. They are not going to do one for the Pioneer 500. They recommended their universal mufflers.
