Yes it is, I attempted to get the cradle out and can't without significant disassembly (fuel tank in way).

I remember looking at it and thinking it prob wouldn't clear.
So what about unbolting the cradle from the engine and supporting it (the engine) with a jack?

Good idea, I did try it but I can't raise it high enough as it contacts the air box.

Okay. I got the cover out. Had to take the rear floor boards out, the air box, and everything else. I jacked up the engine and got the cover out. New gears are in and its ready to be sealed up.

This is not a fun job. I have 8 hours into it so far.

Thanks I hope it all works out. At the 12 hour mark now, everything is back together, except the front driveshaft. Will post the results tomorrow. Hope I put it all together properly!

It seems to be a success. 14 hour job start to finish. I notice no low end power loss but I have not taken to real trails yet. It will break the tires loose if hung up still.

The good thing? If shifts ar a much lower rpm which is great. Have not done a top speed run but on jack stands it did 49 mph before hitting the rev limiter. Will see what it does underway.

Underway 47 mph hitting rev limiter. Odd thought it would be in the 50 range?

Hmm I’d have thought it would be higher too. Is that on the speedo or gps?

That's on the speedo. It gets there just as quick if not better than stock. It seems to be in the powerband more now. Before it always seemed to die off just before shifting now it just zips through the gears.

Will know more when I get it up to camp and put some serious miles on.

Went for a ride tonight. I love the lower RPM. Instead of cruising at 25 mph I can do 30 and it's not winding its guts out.

However I am back to a 44 mph limit and I know I'm not at redline.

Stopped with 2 adults and 2 11 year old kids on a really steep gravel hill. I climbed ot wirh zero issues.

Are you looking at gps or gauge I would think your speedometer would be off now with different gears
