LOL! Just givin him shiat.. I WANT to like Glock. I really do. They have the dubious distinction of being the only manufacturer that builds a quality, light weight 10mm. My wife and I hike in N Idaho a lot.. above Clark Fork, out Pack river road.. Bear country. Of course, we always have our dogs with us.. (chum). So I carry my Blackhawk .41 mag. An incredibly fine firearm that I've owned for almost 40 years... but the dam thing weighs a LOT. Gotta cinch up my belt good to keep my shorts from fallin off.

A G20, 29 or 40 would work. But the darned thing just feels crappy in my hand. Feels like a stinkin brick.

dunno... might have to break down and buy one anyway....

Glock is good tool, I would like to have a Kimber, some tools don't fit my hands very well even with grips. Best tools I've got is a Colt Frontier Scout, 22 cal and a Beretta PX4 45 cal, just point and squeeze and the delivery is on point! Got small fast hands according to my wife! HA!

Not big Kimber fan but the best 10mm I ever felt was a Kimber 1911. 10mm is a solid gun out there.

I forgot my Ruger 38 Mag Security Six revolver, point and squeeze, you don't want me pointing this at you, and every one I have handed it to says WOW! Don't need more than six, if they go were you intended. Im too big of a chicken poop for the use of a AK or other brand that has a 100 round capacity, If under attack, I prefer to shoot from 600 to 700 yards out behind a bunch of trees! HA! And thats what I have in a rifle.

You can't help but respect the Glock. Quality, light weight, and very durable. I just can't get past the feel.. My two favorite auto's are my Kimber Ultra CDP, and my Sig P229. Both are like butter. They just suck as a bear gun. For bear, .357 is the floor, 10mm, .41 mag, .44 mag better. The 10 in particular due to the round count.

Crap.. here we are hi-jackin Glocks thread. Sorry man!

There are enough aftermarket places that are doing custom grip work that you can get the feel you want. They also make some awesome aftermarket triggers now too for Glock. Used to have to send them off to get trigger work done but now it is all plug and play. Nothing will replace a good 1911 trigger but you are not doing that work for yourself and getting it right the first time.

I don’t mind my Beretta with the .357 sig barrel 15+1. Im not much for revolvers- be on your game the first shot or save the last one for yourself...

The used guns I have bought, I think have already been worked on. Check barrel wear, of course! and tightness. Love my used guns!

You need to fire mine, three is all you need, 1 warning shot and 2 bettix it's eyes! Really! Dangest revolver I ever had. And I misstated its a 357 mag. Makes a lot of noise though?

Anyone want to buy a auto Beretta 9 mm old style frame, been wanting to trade it for a Kimber 40 Cal, if it fits my hands.

Yea, the 357 is a bit on the noisy side. I have a stainless 686 Smith 4” that is a joy to shoot, but my daily carry is a 360PD Smith. A 11.5oz J-frame 357 with a 1 7/8” barrel. It is not fun to shoot. I carry +P 38’s in it because 357’s just make a lot of noise & hurt my hand. Love the pistol though.. don’t even know you have it in you..
