I wanted a better way to tie down my rigid tool boxes. I liked @ohanacreek s bolt idea but decided to do something a little different. I had some old hay rake tines laying around so i cut them to length and thread the ends. I drilled holes in the side of the box and drove them through.

So i decided to pull of my lift and just run preload on my shocks. Ended up with 2.5 in of preload in the front and 2 3/4ths in the rear. This amount put me back at almost the same ride height as i had with the lift. Ride was greatly improved and there is definitely more shock up travel. I tried to get the rear tire to rub and wasnt able to. Overall happy with the outcome. Looking forward to doing some real trail testing.
