P1000 Hand Throttle??

Anyone install a hand throttle on their 1000-5? I get weird cramps in my right shin muscle from the way I’m forced to use the gas pedal (I’m 6’6”). Wouldn’t need to use it all the time, just need a break every so often. Thoughts?

i put one on my old jeep, i just got a bicycle brake lever fro walmart they have brackets for mounting and not very expensive, put it on the shifter so i could operate it and the shiftier with one hand, was nice on hills and stuff to be able to use the brake and clutch at once, once you got use to it

Could stick and not go back so it's a safety issue. They redesigned it.

Try a throttle maxx. It may adjust the position of your foot while driving.

Is the official recall out yet? I’m installing one of these, but will wait until after recall..
We install one on an old cabover Pete and our flatbed Ford(for feeding cows, lock throttle, jump on back and throw hay off)
