P700 Help identify part

I just purchased a used 2016 700-4. It's in great condition and I took it out around the house and on our private street with no issues but when I was leaving the house a moment ago I saw this piece lying in the grass. Unfortunately I have to assume it's from the sxs but I have no clue what it is and where it goes. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I really hope you're right. So disheartening to get home today and find pieces falling off lol.

I don't recognize it. Put it on the shelf, you'll figure it out one day.

The body looks like fiberglass reenforced plastic, with rubber o-rings and a stainless steel stem, it looks like a valve assembly of some sort. @joeymt33 is right, put it on shelf. Maybe sell it at your next garage sale.

Ok. Thanks everyone. That puts me a little more at ease. It could have just been in the bed and left from previous owner. After a couple rides I cleaned it inside and out for that very reason and found this shortly after. Also I'm no mechanic but will crawl up under and just double check I don't see anything that looks out of place.
