I need help choosing some new mud tires for the P500.

From day one of ownership back in July I've had 28x8/10x12 maxxis mudzilla take offs from my can am. They worked okay. P500 has plenty of power to turn them in pretty much all conditions. They aren't super aggressive, ride fairly smooth.

But I wanted something more aggressive so I got the gold standard of mud tires or so I thought, another set of highlifter Outlaw 2's in 28x9.5x14. They look fantastic, Outlaws work in the mud fantastic. I see pictures of people running them, and even more aggressive in this size with no gear reduction. But for me, I got sucked down in a couple places where the P500 just didn't have the power to turn them at all. That super thick peanut butter type stuff. They were bumpy and just sucked too much power for my taste. So 1 ride in, and I'm over it.

Its been a long time since I owned a honda or a non cvt machine so maybe I'm just doing it wrong. But I'm already over the laws on this machine. So what is between a mudzilla and a OL2? I was thinking about ag style tire. The STI R4's are only 36lbs and a little narrower, little less aggressive maybe since it doesn't have all that side lug. What else would be good?

I know, a gear reduction would fix it. Machine is barely 5 months old and I just don't want to go that deep into it yet. But I am planning for a gear reduction, forward control arms and 31"s this time next year. So what tire would be between that?

I like the STI out back these are light the rears 27x10x12 are 29lbs the fronts are 27 x 9 x 12 they also come in an 11 inch wide.they ride pretty good and the 700 will spin them clean no problem.

just a suggestion they work well on rock and hard pack and wear well on pavement I don't like a heavy tire. They will mud with the best of them.
