BTW: I've been meaning to ask you, care if I copy your diamond plate front fender archs, d -bar covers, and roof side panels? I look at them and think now that's sexy beast! But I plan on using aluminum painted olive/drab/army/italian green. If you have a "Trigger Modded" decal of some sort I'll happily display it.

Lol, that's some funny sh** but probably true! Just like to create something different than the norm, some of it works and some doesn't. Feel free to copy, they say imitation is the best form of flattery. Some are original but I've used other members ideas too and always try to make it a point to give them credit when I post. Some that heavily influenced this machine... @Chooglin , @JACKAL , @jak9922 , @CumminsPusher , and probably a half dozen others I'm forgetting, super creative guys that just figure out a way.
Take an idea and run with it, just remember to give a brother a shout out.

The trip home was uneventful but I do believe the trailer was airborne a few times

Unloaded and took it around the yard a few times and I’m very happy to finally have a P5

I will start a build thread when I think of a name, but here are a few pics for now

Taking the machine to my muffler guy tomorrow so he can take a look at it. Probably won't get it in there to be done being the Saturday before Christmas but at least he'll get a good look at what's coming.

Had my guy take a look this morning and he said no problem. Said he had been looking at other machines since we talked about it and that all of them looked like cramped working conditions. He said this is wide open compared to those and he'll also make the hangers work. The plan is to take it in Thur. morning. I was a little disappointed that he wouldn't be able to weld on the O2 bung supplied with the Dobeck at the same time due to not having it yet but look what showed up just before I left...

Gotta love it when a plan starts coming together.

Wow, it's louder! Not just on the throttle either, noticed it as soon as I started it.
This is how my guy ended up doing it. One hanger lined up and the other needed a bracket. Pretty much what @Talen showed. Welded the (bungie was what he kept calling it) at the proper angle to the inside. He used hardware he had laying around just to bolt it up, I plan to go through it all with the proper lengths and nyloks and paint it up. Almost everything on it is going black, hardware, pipe, tail piece.


Bought some heat tape now that the shields are gone, that sh**'s expensive!

I can get you one if you want it. Kind of the same as doing a stereo clip though, guys listen on their phones and it just doesn't do it justice.
