Which Yuasa battery would I need for my 18 deluxe.
Yuasa GYZ16H or a YTX16H-BS . My secondary battery is a GYZ32-HL.
It' a beast of a battery. WInch, stereo, lights all run off it. Never a battery issue.

I just ordered this one to try... it might be garbage but it ships quickly and my original stock battery is done.

I like the price and the built in volt meter is a nice addition, even if it only lasts just out of the return window ;-)

Let us know how it works out!

I’ve got it in and it’s doing a fine job so far... we‘ll see how long it lasts. But I’m betting it’ll get 2-3 years ok. The stock battery only made it 3.5. If this one only makes it 2 years I’m still ahead.

And you are using this one as the replacement for the factory original battery?

The secondary battery location is larger than the stock correct?

I suppose I could move to a larger battery in the secondary location when my stock finally bites the dust...

Yes,
The secondary battery location is larger than stock. The Yuasa GYZ-32-HL fits perfectly.

500 cold cranking amps and 32 amp hour performance is about as good as a powersports battery gets in my experience.

It's a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

I also built a SAE trickle charge cable to plug them together to jump the OEM in a pinch.

Bought my '18 in 10/17, stock battery still going strong. In 8/18 I added this 2nd battery. It was $20 cheaper than now. Never any problems with either of them. I did forget and left the key on one time for several days and found both batteries dead. I put them on the charger and never looked back ...... all is good.

Just replaced the factory battery in my 2016 with a duracell agm battery - part number DURAGM-14-US. The factory battery wasn’t giving problems but I figured I was on borrowed time. New battery has threaded posts which is nice. Pioneer seems to crank faster as well, making me think replacement was a good decision. Might be looking at adding a second battery soon.

After replacing mine, I noticed it cranks faster than it had been in the last few months too. I also noticed that my machine has stopped "creeping" while idling in gear. Any connection between low battery and creeping? Or maybe the ecu reset itself after disconnecting the battery?

My factory battery is still going strong after 4 years and 3 months. It's never seen a battery tender. Only been charged once when some dumbazz left key on overnight. Normally I may get a year out of a powersports battery. So im doing alright i guess

Still on the original battery in my ‘16 1000-5. Winch get a lot of use plowing in the winter months. Plugged into the battery tender if I know it’s going to sit for a week or two.

Yes, this was for the stock battery.. I’m running the odyssey for my second battery

Cool, that's what I'm running for my second also. Is this new one pretty much the same size as the original factory one. I've got so much s*** strapped, taped, tie wrapped under the hood I want to have as close to an exact fit as I can get.

Yes... the one thing I don’t live about it are the posts. I wish they were the screw in type. But for $50 I’ll hassle with the aggravation once

Good call thanks. I got it installed today, as you said, fits perfect and seems to be doing its job.
