I'm in Central Florida. Looks like. The eye will go right by us. I'm in lake Wales Florida. We are staying and hoping for the best. Hope everyone stays safe. Please don't run generators in your house or garage.

I dont blame you. But lately love bugs haven't been as bad if any at all. We have been lucky the last few years. If you can call it lucky I am lucky enough to work for the city and have a secure job and OK pay. Housing also has gotten a lot better but definitely could improve. But j can see your reasons are valid for moving lol. If I didnt have my family here I'd def move to a different state.

We went to my hometown in Illinois first for a few years and then Wisconsin a year ago. No ties I Wisconsin, we just thought it was beautiful and went.

Amazing. Not overly technical, but lots of beautiful scenery. I've got well over 200 miles of trails directly available from my front door. 22,000 miles of trails and routes in the state.

Track looks like it's coming right up our backyard here in SW Florida . This one is going to get ugly. Good luck to my Florida neighbors who are hunkered down and riding this thing out like we are. God Bless.

We were going to ride it out until the track drifted to the west. Looks like Tampa may take the hardest hit they have had since 1921. Wife and decided last night we had better get out and pulled out at 3am this morning. At that time traffic was light and 90% of the gas stations had fuel.

Just heard on the radio in Tampa that they are expecting a 13 ft tidal surge.....this won't be good.

Yea we very high up. If we flood all of Florida is under water. Now other parts of my city will flood. We are going to go fill sand bags as I speak for a couple buddies.

Thanks and that's the plan. We got our east, west and south windows boarded up this morning. Other than a few things I plan on taking care of in the morning I think we are as ready as we can get.

Has your trash been picked up? Our's was supposed to be picked up today due to the Labor Day holiday.

From what the wife told me Republic Services didn't win the new bid and said screw it. Bailed early on the current contract and not picking up our trash. The new company stepped up and said they would try to get it done today but they haven't been by here yet.

No my trash pick up is Tuesday. I am livid with these new home builders right now. I am having to clean up aluminum and trash. Look at the dumpster they left. And the mess in the yards of their unfinished homes.
