So, I've got a million random questions on my mind as I'm trying to plan out mods for this thing (while simultaneously avoiding doing any actual work today). Rather than make a seperate thread for each one, I figured I'd start my own random question thread. Feel free to add to it should you have a question that doesn't necessarily warrant a whole thread.

I'll start:
-Are the front and rear hubs parallel with each other; i.e. is the front wider/narrower than the rear? If not, by how much?

Do you (anyone) suppose the Moose or MFG Supply 2" receiver plate will fit the p52 the same as it does the p5?

Can you run an AGM Aux battery with a SLA primary on the same charge circuit with a Blue Sea Mini Add-a-Battery or does it have to be another SLA?

You can run an AGM, deep cycle or lithium ion for that matter. You're just going to get different rates of charge and discharge when in parallel. I passed on the isolator and just ran two like batteries in parallel, basically a bigger bank of power. I don't run accessories without the engine running and in the event I do and drain the batteries, I carry a little LI jump pack. Cheaper and less involved than all that isolator and stinger mess. Regarding: Viper Elite Wide spool winches - 3500-6000lb.

Is there any difference in the physical size/form factor/mounting holes in the various winches or is the difference all internal?

I think it's just different spec motors, but it says the 6k is a smidge bigger? Bolt hole patterns are all the same tho.

Are the Viper winches good quality? All I’ve ever dealt with is Warn and Super Winch.

I've only ever had 2 winches, and old Superwinch lt3000 I got back in 2012 to put on my Rubicon, and my current Viper elite 6k widespool on the p5. Had the Viper since July.

Thing is a beast, only had to use it for a couple hard pulls so far, but it works great, I like it. Hands down, better than the old superwinch, but I think the "LT" was their budget model, plus quite a few years have gone by since then, so I dunno what kind of improvements they're gotten to on newer winches.
Much higher power draw at full load compared to the superwinch, but I factored that into my setup, even though I don't have everything going yet. 2nd battery, larger/shorter cable runs etc.

What mount?
Strongmade front bumper here. Good if driving through brush. Seems like is should fit a P520 as it uses u bolts to front. Really like the upper bar as a hand hold in the mud winching.

Currently just using the cheapest winch mount I could find. I'm still undecided on which bumper to get, EMP VS strongmade. I like that the Strongmade is full width of the machine, looks like the EMP stops at the edge of the lights.
BUT, I like that the EMP's top bar thingy sticks out further then the winch itself, which I guess only really matters if I'm gonna go tree bashing or something. I'll probably end up getting the strongmade, once I make up my mind.

Strongmade upper bar is welded, EMP is bolt on. I can attest to the Strongmade hitting a tree hard, no damage. Have an EMP on my Ace, had fitment and bolt issues. Had to deform plastic tray to fit. Really like the style of both vs tube bumpers.
