Glad to know im not the only one who hates spiders! My stepdad used to have an old (dare i say?) kawasaki mule, and he mounted fiberflass whip flags on the left and right sides of the front bumper. The type flags that you get at walmart in the bicycle section for putting on bikes. He bought the flag holders also and mounted them to the bumper and then he could take the flags out easily. Looked goofy, worked good. Warning: some spiders end up coming down the whips and crawling around on utv! Lol

Ya know, here in Southern Utah, we hardly have spiders. Maybe in dark corners in a cool dry house...there is no mosquito's, damn few fly's and pretty much no annoying flying insects. You can easily sit outside at dusk and enjoy the evening. Move a bit south in the desert, like the Las Vegas NV area, and there is not any flying insects. It's just too dry and either too hot or too cold There are plenty of bats scouring the area for the few flying bugs they can find but that's about it.

We do have a few snakes, rattlesnakes...and scorpions upon occasion which are quickly dispatches when found.
Well how many bugs would you like, send me your address and make the bats happy!

Ya gott'a be shirting me! Are you guys for real? Freaking spiders and spider webs so thick you're driving through them? Fark that! There isn't ANY riding good enough to put up with that. I hate snakes the worst, but spiders 'ain't far behind.
OW yes there is, come on down, we have snakes, but I can move faster than a cat can lick it's butt! We have some great ridding, leave your hair spray at home, HA!

Make sure it's long enough to hit the roof and not come into the cabin area.

Hahahaha all you guys wanting Nick to lead. That mulberry ride I had probably 1000 in the sxs. I was swatting my legs the entire time I was driving. @Kilo427 gave me some bug spray to spray myself and the sxs down with but it didn’t help a ton. Glad we have a new summer leader!

Haha! Hope you sleep well @Plongson

OMFG! There is no farking way. I've worked all over the country in my career but had NO idea about this spider thing. WTF dudes, you are bad ass, hardened SOB's to be out there flicking freaking spiders. I'm sure glad I watched this this morning! Ya, it'd been a sleepless night. We have NOTHING like that out here in the west! I'd be out there with a flame thrower.

Flame thrower!

Now there's an idea, mount one of them to the front of the Pioneer.

Pretty strange I must admit but as a house painter, I deal with flies, bees, wasps, mosquitos, deer flies, bats and all sorts of spiders on a daily basis and that's just part of the business but for some reason, I just have never been able to deal with the spider webs???????

I'm with you. There are actually very few spiders that are dangerous. But the webs drive ne nuts.

it was more annoying than anything - now if I had my 7 year old in the Honda he would not have liked it at all... I was going to ride that day without a windshield - glad I did not do that lol...

I know going forward that If I am lead early in the morning I will have a spider stick aka web wacker / Smitty stick

now the dang chiggers I got into - that hurts

The best and cleanest look for your pioneer to get rid of the spiders is have your friend lead the way! Nothing like staying behind them watching as they try and get a 2" banana spider off their face and neck as they hit it running 30.
