It sure is tempting, but my foot went through just a week ago. I think I'll wait another week before I gain 1000 lbs. and head out on the lake.

There are snowmobile tracks all over the ice, but only one or two from the heavier utv.
If going fast enough...a snow sled can hydro plane...
Your P500 will sink like a ROCK.
.......NOT TO MENTION HYPOTHERMIA. ..
be safe....

I'm waiting until other people test it out. Then if i stay within 100 meters from shore it's only 2 feet deep.

You need tire extension kit, will lower your pressure on ice. I have one but the bolts did not match the thread, so need to find right ones.

Does the extension kit spread the load? I will be driving 'lighter' just like I am walking 'lighter' in the pic below.

Here is my 700 first time on the ice. Normally I would never take it on the ice but its very safe this year and with the snow walking would be tough. Sitting over 90 feet of water.

Over 90' of water?! I was talking about how scaring lighting is with @jak9922. Who cares about lightning now, I've got another nightmare to worry about.

Thanks guys.

We drive on the ice all the time up here in the frozen northland......this year the ice on the lake across the road is about a foot thick. I did not have a camera with me but a drug my buddies ice fishing "hut" (thing is 14' by 14' with cots in it) out on the lake two weeks ago. He live about 40 miles north of me and usually uses his snow machine but we have had almost no snow so I used the p500 she pulled it like a champ.

Yeah had to have chains...no snow at all the lake looks like a hockey rink. I just used an old set of atv chains I had laying around not sure of the brand I had to use bailing wire to tighten them up so high speed was NOT in the picture. I used to race dirt bikes on an ice track on a lake near here when I was a kid....put on old super nooby tires and run button head screws into them.....now days they still race bikes on the lake but they have specialized tires for it.
