Mine is a 2012 and it has never given me a problem I have a 130k on it with lots of mods. Make 480hp to the wheel and tow 8k lbs with a 2/4 drop and air bags.

? for any RAM owners...Just got a 7 month old 2017 RAM crew cab 1500 Laramie 5.7 hemi MDS, 4x4. Only had 6900 miles, $38k. (Decent price?? Any RAM issues I should know about??). What a difference after driving my 2000 chevy Z71 for 17 years. Trailer is next for those random retirement trips with the P500.

Good job mudder!We love ours however we had a loaded 2012 Cummins Mega cab dually before this one and it was a monster when it came to towing! The HEMI is good,especially with the 8 speed and we opted for the 3.91 gear,2wd and a trailer brake.But you can't beat the Cummins for towing, it never downshifted on hills.

Had a 99, at 350k she was getting a bit long in the tooth though. In really good shape but I was getting afraid she’d puke engine or transmission one day and cost me more than she was worth. So I sold her. That was the last decent GM product I owned. Hindsight being 20/20 I should gave kept it.

As far as brakes and power no problem I added air bags to it after the pics so now I just air them up till its level and roll out. Pulls like a dream.
