Hey guys I'm new to the forum. Need some help. I just installed a Highlighter lift on my 1000-5 and now my rear shocks are hitting the tires! It's sitting on stocks right now while I wait on my new tires/wheels to come in. My question is will the new wheels be offset enough or will I need spacers. I have a big ride coming up and need this fixed ASAP.. Thanks guys.

Is your stock set up a "deluxe" (28x11x14 tires in the rear)?
what is the offset on your new wheels, and what is the new tire width?
you should be ok if your new tires are less than 11" wide...

First I've heard of this. I've got the same lift but with 10" wide tires all around. But I've only got a finger width between shock and tire. What psi is it. Have you ran it around so it didn't just come off the jack?

Mine is not the deluxe but it came with 27x11x12.. I ordered new 30x10x15 blackwater Evo on 15x7 hurricane wheels. There 5+2 offset. All I did was install the lift and the tire back on and let the jack down that's when I noticed it. You can even turn the tire if you wanted to.

you'll probably be ok with the 5+2s and 10"wide tires.

yeah, there's a few guys on here running the highlifter and stock deluxe wheels/tires (@CumminsPusher, @Delton ). I haven't seen them report any rubbing. the only caveat, is that they may have added wheel spacers, but not sure. one of those guys will chime in here in a few.

but with 10" tires and 5+2 offset wheels, you should be fine with no spacer. I've run that same set up on mine (but with 3.5 offset wheels) with the highlifter and no rubbing.

You should be ok. Air the tires up and see if it helps I've got the stock non deluxe wheels.

Data on each. Below is the deluxe! Thought maybe offset could be different, but doesn't appear to be the issue!

I have the HL lift with delux wheels, but I have 1.5" spacers and I'm a long ways from the shock tower. I also have a set of 30 x 10 ITP Monster Mayhams wiith STI HD Beadlocks and a 5+2 offset and again no problems.

With the tire size you are going with you may need a-arms. I have a set of 29.5x9.5x14 outlaw 2s on a set of 3+4 wheels and when turning they rub the inner fender.

Mine 3 lol. No problem with deluxe rims at all. It is close but no rub. I have 30-10-14 Evos on 5+2 10" rims. No problem running them. Wierd that you're having this problem.
