She's right you know! You may need to help out one of those "other" brands.Got a fire extinguisher finally and figured out where to mount my tire pump. Mama said we need some safety precautions, so off to work I go lol

What???? You figure how much?Yeah buddy, after tonight's ride she is going under the knife for a rewire on the lights, stereo and a haircut courtesy of you CP
Mama is right you do need to take safety precautions example more agressive tires so you don't slide off the trail, a winch so you don't get stuck in a medical emergency, plenty of lights in case you get lost in the woods and the rescue helicopter can find you, a lift kit so you don't get hung on a rock and flip, a loud stereo to scare off bears. The safety list is endless. LolGot a fire extinguisher finally and figured out where to mount my tire pump. Mama said we need some safety precautions, so off to work I go lol

The mid brace will be the problem. It's 100% doable just need some "adjustments" that's cool though. Holy crap that's low!

And apparently a lowered roof so this doesn't ever happenMama is right you do need to take safety precautions example more agressive tires so you don't slide off the trail, a winch so you don't get stuck in a medical emergency, plenty of lights in case you get lost in the woods and the rescue helicopter can find you, a lift kit so you don't get hung on a rock and flip, a loud stereo to scare off bears. :Face palm:
I didn't have to get into that a ton. I had to reshape the upper round just a bit and grind bottom welds off of the side reinforcements then weld back up. 4 1/2 was really cutting it in there but that's what I measured for good clearance on us. It would have been easier just a bit shy. At 7 you'll have to cut lower crossbars out and reposition them a little but not bad.Any chance you'd be willing to share a pic of what you did with yours?

I'm actually in that same boat. I will be doing that for next spring! I'd like them balanced and the whole nine so if you find something please get back to me. I was even thinking of a heavy ply snow tireI've actually been looking at options for a 14" light truck tire. There are very few but they do exist. We do a lot if gravel, hard pack and pavement. The bighorns sound like a locomotive on blacktop
