Added a “cheap” chase light/ brake/turn signal light. With the cooler rack installed it was hard to see the lower brake lights.

Recycled the working Tusk harness from the Talon to the P1K. See how long this one last.

And just to be clear I was able to remove the seatbelt bolt with just a 5/8” wrench. 🤷‍♂️

Thankfully you weren't required to use heat that close to your fuel tank. Another certain catastrophe eliminated

Well buggy stalled again so maybe the battery bolt wasn't the whole issue after all. Only happened once in over 150 miles during a two day trip, but it did happen....

Did u check all the grounds on the rig and mounting points as well? Or just the battery bolt?

I stopped looking once I found the battery bolt. Guess I need to dig a little deeper.
There are a few. One thats a culprit usually is the one on the frame back of the engine. It gets nasty the most. Stranded me once when it corroded on mine.

Checked all three grounds last night (2 Eng/ 1 frame). The frame ground had some minor rust on frame side but not directly under the ground wires. Cleaned it up and put a bit of dielectric grease on it. Engine ground were tight (with a socket) so left them alone.

This morning I pulled the air filter and it was pretty nasty. Engine side was clean and dry though. Who would have thought after only 650 miles.

Installed a SATV frame stiffner so I had to drop part of the skid plate. This of course led to some stripped self tappers. That pneumatic rivnut gun is still the best tool I’ve bought in some time. No pictures, nothing exciting to show.

Developed a popping noise in the drivers front after sliding in to a rut and using Dif lock to climb out. Probably could have done it in 4wd, someone said they heard a pop while climbing out that continued the rest of the weekend. Mostly during sharp turns.

Ordered some SATV Rhino2 axles and swapped the bad one out. Seems to have solved the issue.

FYI for anyone with 22+ model. Honda changed the nut/thread size on the axle. Splines are the same and the new axle came with a nut. Just needed to get the correct socket. OEM was 32mm (1 1/4” fits), SATV axle was 30mm.

Had some complaints about my chase light being too bright at night so I needed to tone it down a bit. I had some head light tint vinyl laying around so I figured I would give a try. One layer all the way across, and a 2nd layer on the orange. Hopefully that makes it easier to be behind me.

In order to squeeze this thing into the toy hauler I decided to remove the front 1” spacers. This (if anyone remembers) caused the 30” on 5+2x15 wheels to ride hard on the atlas pro A arms. So I decided to add the steering stops provided by SATV.

Not really wanting to disconnect the outer tie rod, I used a 32mm crows foot to remove the inner. Ordered new lock rings (washers?) because the tabs ripped off when removing.

My question is,,, does anyone use the “special tool” or a punch to dent the washer or will the two tabs suffice?

Never done either, hell I've installed them with broken tabs and never had an issue either.....not to say that's wise but 🤷‍♂️. Also 🤔 I thought the steering stops could be "snapped on" without having to remove the tie rod....maybe I'm wrong.
