Progress on the chop top so far, everything is lining up nicely after I cut 1.5 inches out if one c pillar to fix my boo boo. Everything but the b pillars are welded up now. Don't judge my garbage looking welds, I'm rocking a harbor freight 110v welder, they're ugly but solid.

Looking better Mopar! You've got penetration so that doesn't matter.

I think the profile turned out just right. Final amount of cut was 5.5 front 6 rear. Sits perfectly flat

That's the same welder I used when I added the back seats, had never used a wire feed before, always used a stick welder in the past.

Hold the nozzle closer to your work, turn the wire speed down a hair and make sure the metal is CLEAN! You can minimize the splatter that way, but it will never go away with flux core

More progress today. With my schedule it takes forever to finish 8 projects that I started all simultaneously. ;-) here are today's pics. Mounted the pdm, light bar, switches, volt meter, speakers and the all important cigar lighter. Still have to trim down the dual USB because it is too tight to fit in the hole in the panel. More to come over the weekend.

Switches are installed, along with my Steelies magnetic phone mount. So I guess my Honda will be known as upside down switch car. I wanted the radio on the other side originally, but the shift linkage is in the way and the switches are in too tight to get back out so.... Upside down it is. Its all good, I think I may be able to flip the rocker? Anybody know if they are removable? Also, anybody got a clue where to get blanks for the open slots?

Yes they are removable and I believe you could flip it but obviously the switch would flip opposite but also lights would light up wrong but would work. Do you not have enough room to pull out and flip? Here the coversCd87d0a63745ca14f3d93a349386fbca

You can flip the the covers I'm pretty sure. I've had them off before and I remember putting one the wrong way but don't remember if it worked or how I knew
