Can anyone post pictures of how you mounted a spare tire and extra fuel cans on the P1000-5 ?
Also a fire extinguisher if you have one. Thanks.

Fire extinguisher??? Try the RZR forums lmao
Sorry I couldn't resist lol. Several members have good rear mounts for tires and extra gas. I just have a storage area next to the spare but it holds a 5gal jug perfectly. I'm actually gonna have to make another one so I can move spare to center of vehicle. I want to go street legal and need the tail lights unobstructed. Joey has a great setup

Here's my spare tire and Roto-pax mount. Extremely easy and cheap to build and nothing permanent on the pioneer.

Built using scrap I had laying around. Getting primed this picture.

Here it is painted black and installed in the hitch.

I tried to get the tire and fuel can close enough together to not block the taillights.

It tucks in nice and close

I use a ratchet strap to keep it from swinging. The strap isn't installed in this pic but you can see the loop for it.

This tire mount has proven to be strong. It has survived royal blue and Bull Run many times.

For the fire extinguisher mounted, i mounted it to the ROPS in the rear on the drivers side.

Your whole friggin setup is exactly what I am looking for! So cool! Have you thought of making these for sale? If not do you think you could post a dimensional sketch with lengths, angles, etc? I have a friend with a welder. Also who makes the fire extinguisher kit you used. Also do you know where I can buy "one" spare deluxe tire and wheel for my P1K-5?
What size Ropax did you use?

I like your mount test lol. If it didn't fall off during that, I don't think it will

If you're into a swing out design, this one was super easy to make and cheap ( also made from scrap metal laying around).

We tested mine too lol. If anyone is concerned about a mod they've created, just bring it to the Northern Alabama testing grounds and it'll get put to the test. We make Redstone Arsenal look like a kindergarten class lmao.

We actually did 2 tests in this shot. Shock test for mine, splash test for Joey's lol. It's waterproof. Just like his phone.

I haven't had a chance to do a sketch but you and your friend could probably make this pretty easy. I did take a few measurements and some pictures when I went through the shop this evening.

Here's a picture of the fire extinguisher I used. In the picture you can see a part number for rockymountainatvmc.com.

There are many different styles available. This one seem pretty handy because it came with the bag and straps to mount it.

I used 2 gallon Roto packs. The mount will hold two of them.

As for a spare wheel and tire, you could post in the buy/sale section on this forum or buy A wheel and tire from Rocky Mountain ATV from your local dealer.

One other note on the spare tire carrier, I will be adding a gusset near the bottom. When you think about the weight this thing is carrying and all the bouncing around, you can add a lot of stress to this Weld. I usually have a spare tire and 4 gallons of fuel and ride pretty hard. All that bouncing around has created a stress crack.

Thanks to you, I noticed this crack. If you had not asked me to give you some measurements, I would not have looked at it close enough to see it.

Jumping head first into creeks will sometimes cause this. Or so I've heard (wouldn't actually know) lol.
To the OP, Harbor Freight sells a receiver extension that'll make your life slot easier building this. One end fits into receiver on our machines then it goes down to same OD as 1.5" square tubing. I can take a pic of the one I bought if it'd help. I'll probably end up making one like this when I go street legal with mine.
