That's settles it, if I can ride in the thing (doesn't say you can drive) tricky eh. I'm going to have to go.

The challenge, get a picture of me with Honda booth staff and the P1000 sporting a HONDASXS.com decal on the machine. I'll be wearing my Ride Red shirt & HRC hat to boost my chances :)

Challenge accepted

I was scheduled to drive one on the 9th of Sept. But just recieved a call from my dealer asking if I wanted to go with them the 10th for a dealer only event to drive-em. They are allowed to bring one VIP guest and since I got dibs on the first one he gets in he thought he'd see if I wanted to go along!! I'm gonna try and bring a Go-Pro along and get some footage.

Hey everyone, new member, hoping to purchase new pioneer 1000-5 deluxe soon, but was wondering about the leg room in driver's seat. I'm 6'5" and knees hit the dash in the 700-4, anyone who's demoed the 1000 know if there's more room?

I would like to know about the overall room in this as well. I have a 700-4 and feel cramped up with my knees hitting the dash.

It's got a little more room, not alot. If my memory serves me correctly it's noticeably wider in the foot area, but it's not any longer so it seams the dash to knee is similar to the 700.

Yea I wish someone could get a measurement somehow to actually tell if the 1000-5 has more "knee room" or not. I have the cash ready to throw down but if I can't fit I'll be forced to look at another brand. The viking has lots of room! I'm hoping for something similar to that, I'm a honda fan but the 700-4 doesn't come close. Be a bummer to wait until Nov and have the 1000-5 not fit. Guess that what I get for being 6'5".

Does the dash curve in on the 1000 while the 700 runs straight? Thats just from looking at pictures . That should give a few more inches. Whats the best comparison in other utvs you have sat in. Same as ranger, or same amount of room as viking, etc... my knees hit dash in ranger but I'm comfortable in viking. I'm hoping honda will be similar to viking!
