Same way I went. I bought my machine with brackets and highlifter front arms, stock shocks. Rode like a brick. Do the shock upgrade as soon as you can and you'll be loving it with the TTC kit.

Dave, I’ve been reading a lot about your build, even before I started all of my changes. I’m more of a lurker than a poster( not real good around all this computer stuff) . But thanks for the suggestion. I’ve used a lot of the ideas from this forum to make my rig more capable.

I finally got my TTC A arms installed and alignment completed. Everything is tight but not torqued down, does anyone have torque numbers for A arms bolt and ball joints? I remember seeing a post with some numbers but can’t find it now that I need them . I tried searching but didn’t come up with what I need.

What manufacturer are you trying to order from? I went with Texas Tough Customs . They offer an arched A arms with no lift and some with 3 or 6 inch lifts. I am really pleased with them. They aren’t the least expensive but I believe they’re worth the extra money.

Now that I’ve had my TTC A arms on and put them to the test last weekend on a 228 mile ride. I can say I’m extremely pleased with them. I can now get rid of my stock A arms, so if anyone in Arizona needs stockers for a repair or replacing a bent one let me know. The price is right ( Free Dollars) !!!

Which did you go with the 0,3 or 6? Did you have to change anything else besides the A arms?
