P500 New guy

I have been reading this forum for about a month now. Flip flop back and forth between the 700-4 and the 500. Well I settled on the 500 because I didn't wanna buy a new trailer and a SXS at the same time. The 700 wouldnt fit on my 5x10. So friday I went and picked her up from Honda of Forrest City. I love it!

I'm sorry. I hate that place with a passion. I drove to Forrest City to get mine. Desoto Honda laughed at me when I asked them to price match. That's the second time they basically laughed in my face.

Sure did! Put 50 miles on it Saturday some road time, some trail time. We were out riding on a buddies hunting property not to far from the house. About 9:30 some rain moved in unexpectedly. We tried to wait it out. Needless to say we drove 5 miles on back roads back to the house in the POURING down rain.

Is it normal to have some slack and noise in the rear diff. Like clunk.

Mine was a little noisy until first oil change.

Thanks trigger. It's mainly when I don't have my foot on the pedal. De acceleration etc. more noticeable putting around the yard going slower. I love the low end power this thing has. Almost reminds me of a tractor!

You'll really love it when gearing down a hill and don't have to ride the brakes.
Can't say mine ever made alot of noise putting around...
only clunked when switching gears. Sounds better now with fresh oil.

A good synthetic in the diffs is an option too.
