P1000 new to forum

Hi everyone. I’m new to Honda and this forum and I have a question. I just purchased a used 2016 and a 2017 1K deluxe. One of them needs some coolant added to the reserve tank. It’s at the min level. Can I pick up some at bass pro or does it have to be specific kind? Want to ride tomorrow morning and bass pro only thing open tonight.
I have a lot to learn about these machines so I’ll prob be asking more questions.

Check your owners manual for coolant spec and buy the equal.

good quality ethyle glycol containing corrosion protection for aluminum engines...make sure its 50/50mix...

Ethylene glycol antifreeze with corrosion inhibitors, 50 50 mix, is what my service manual says.

Be sure not to mix 50 50 if it is all ready mixed.

yes your Honda dealer would have them but I think I read if you become a lifetime member on here you can access a PDF file but someone else maybe will know better....

The pdf is service manual.
I have not found a pdf of owners manual yet. I have cut and scanned enough books lately. Dont want to cut my owners manual. I keep an eye on ebay for one i can cut and scan.
