P1000 Any years to avoid when buying used?

I'm in the market for a Pioneer 1000-5, mainly looking at the 2018 to 2021 models because that is what falls in my budget. From what I'm seeing there isn't a lot of differences in these years of models but I'm looking for any suggestions of years or things to avoid?

Those are great years. theres also nothing wrong with a 16’ or 17’ just need to make sure they have the updates and recalls done and u have a 18-21. that info u can find i the search up top Or post the machine your looking at and we can help you. There are also some update recalls on the 18-21’s as well to be sure were done.

I was in my 76th year when I bought mine (new), from that experience I'd say best be under 70.

All joking aside......there was a group of VIN #'s that have a potential steering component issue....
