Good day.

I just brought home my new( to me )toy. I have a question for you smart folks. It has a 2” highlifter lift kin installed. Do I need to worry about breaking axels With this?

Thanks for you input.

Welcome from the land between the Great Lakes!
and your answer is no!
Although I’d put some preload on those springs. What size tire is that? Looks small having a lift.

I should say. I have never had adjustable fox shocks before. To be honest, I’m not totally sure what the reservoir on the shocks do. Other then to soften or stiffen the ride. I’m excited to learn tho.

Thanks for your reply. They are 28” tires. Why would you you want preload on the springs?
To help with the ride so it’s not so soft and the ride hight. You can most of the time achieve the lift u have with those shocks like I did if preload the springs then you have the correct geometry to your machine. Lift is cool, but I felt that sacrificed some riding comfort.
I to had 28’s with a lift and they made the machine look like donut spares on it like your pic. You should be able to accommodate 30’s easily there. If you don’t have wheel spacers I’d would put them on either way With or without your lift. But deffenatly With your lift.

If you search anything fox shocks in the search engine above, you’ll find more that what you need or wanted to know about how those shocks work lol. The adjustment are mostly a preference to your riding style and the terrain your riding in.
The preload on your shocks look like there still at factory settings as to why I asked.
