Doesn't seem like a great idea, people crash enough with a CVT.

That's be cause they are high off burnt rubber belt fumes and spec sheet marketing, & blinded by brand loyalty koolaid. :)

You have to give Yamaha credit they innovated design in several areas, motor, transmission, suspension layout, etc.

Now we just need Honda to answer with their own 998CC DCT 6 speed 110-120 HP 17" Pro Link suspended SxS at 1200 lbs to compete.

I have been in stuffy meetings all day. Just had a chance to see the video.
Looks like a sequential shift manual not too unlike the direction Honda went (albeit with the superior electronic DCT design) and it's an ACTUAL geared trans good job Yamaha! (Not as good as Honda with the E-DCT.... But far better than a belt)

Nice jab Yamaha!

With the "flipper car" front end I'm sure you can see the trail better than in a rzr or maverick too.

Lolz, I have heard of the burning bush, the weeping willow, but never the shredded belt shrubs of the American southwest. :p
