P1000m5 Oil filter retailers

Have some time during a rainy day today and want to get the oil change done. Bought our Pioneer with 350 miles and NO service records so really want to get that done before we ride much more... just in case it wasn’t serviced at 100 miles.

Can I buy aftermarket filters anywhere? All the local Honda Powersports shops are closed today.

Actually, thinking about this more, the maintenance light is not on, and the guy I bought it from purchased from a dealership.... so probably a decent chance they performed the service and I can just wait a few days to get the right Honda oil change kit.

Perfect, just need to find something at a local retailer around Minneapolis....

I have bought one at napa or oriellys in the past. Give them a try.

The first service is most important as that is when the valves are adjusted. If the wrench and number 1 are not illuminated on the dash it has likely been done. I'm not sure if the dealer can look it up by vin across all dealerships or not.....
