I want to install automotive insulation on the rear cabin wall behind my seat back. How do I remove the seat back? I can't see well enough to determine if there are screws or bolts attaching the seat back to the cabin wall.

Across the bottom of the seat back inside the cab? Is a #10 head a special type of allen head?

10mm socket. Like 5 bolts into the back of the seat.
You may have to remove that rear panel if you still have it. (as seen in your profile pic)

i almost asked this same question yesterday. (for same purpose) looked online a while, without luck. Just gave it another closer look and located the 10mm bolts. I removed just the outside bolt, and loosened the center three. I didnt want to struggle reattaching the darn thing without another hand to help. Worked fine for me to get what i needed fed up behind back of seat. And i didnt have to take off my hard back window or lower plastics.

Actually, it's not all that tough to put back in single handed, even for a septuagenarian (that's age 70 to 79). Just start one end bolt then lift the other end and start one there - middle three are then started. Piece of cake.

Thanks to each of you.

Yes, I do have the hard back panel. I was afraid I might have to remove the hard back panel. Septuagenarian is a polite way of saying "old man" which is me.

I'll lift the tilt bed out of the way and look at it tomorrow.

I cut a piece of electrical tubing (3/4 inch EMT) that holds my bed up while I am in there. Sits perfectly in the bed next to spare tire and is easily accessed. Cheap, too. Wouldn't be without it working on oil changes, cleanings, etc.

Sounds like a good idea. How about a photo. I'd like to copy your idea if you don't mind.
