Pioneer 13 code

My pioneer is showing a 13 code. Everything checks out great on continuity, resistance, and voltage. Runs for 3-5 seconds and shuts off. If I keep the key switch in the start position, it will run forever. What am I losing when the switch is allowed to go to the run position?

Only long enough to know it will stay running in the start position. Maybe 10 seconds.

I have checked voltage, continuity, and resistance in both plug and injector. I can’t find anything wrong in the injector itself or plug.

The injector issue is due to vibration. There is a possibility it gets connection when still, but as the engine moves it looses that connection.

Code 13.
I recommend replacing them.

Code 12 and 13 are injector harness problems. I had the code 12 (front injector), sometimes it would run for 40 miles then the next time it would run for 40 feet. Ran through all of the checks but didn’t find location of broken wire ‘til I started wiggling the injector wire. Finally crapped out about 2 inches from injector plug on the positive wire. Club store had them in stock and I had the new harnesses in the mail in a couple of days.

Mine literally only runs for about 3 seconds. Would run forever if the starter would make it. I just thought it was odd that it will run fine in start position but not run. I made up a disconnect to take power from the starter and it is fine until I let the switch go to run.
