The 2056 bushings are 0.96" OD and 0.562" ID so they're more like 15/16" and 9/16"..

@tjoreo I do appreciate you offering me the bushings or sleeves but I have both on order. Spent more on precision tubing than I wanted, ordered from mcmaster carr and it doesn't give the shipping cost until after the purchase.. well turns out it costs $15 to ship a $14 piece of steel. Granted, it is 1m long, so if anyone else ends up needing the sleeve I should have plenty extra.

I was talking about the steel sleeves that are pressed in the poly bushings. If you are needing some steel bushings at that size, I think I could help you out. I have some pretty nice equipment sitting here that gets pretty lonely if you don't diddle with every once in a while. Let me know.
That would be totally awesome!!! I'm working with @JWB presently on a front shock mod and I'm pretty sure that that was the measurements that he said was required. Allow me to get confirmation from him on this and I'll gladly pay you to make them for me.

I'm working on installing Corvette air shocks on the front of my P5, that's why the dimensions are different.

Just let me know. That should be pretty easy at those measurements. Just need the length and quantity you want.

Sounds like you are taking care of. I was going to order some myself, but like I said, I'm cheap and figured I could build them. I have ordered from Mcmaster Carr a few times for work and don't like that about shipping. Most of the stuff I get here are from MSC or Grainger but I didn't find the tubing that was needed. I just leave the sleeves here until I get the shocks fixed or replaced. Thanks for the recommendation on getting them rebuilt. There is a guy a few miles from here that I put a message in to see if he could fix them. I'll wait and see.

Will do, JWB's not on the forum real often so I don't know how long it will take but I'll let you know for sure. Seems like it would be four of them, but I'll get confirmation on that as well.

That sounds like a great upgrade.
Well, JWB is currently testing them out, refining the mod and posting results. He said the articulation on the front of the P5 went from 5.9" to 11"!!!!! Which is precisely what the tippy P5 needs.

Shop around for replacement shocks. I think you can replace the shocks for about $80 each.

If you're willing to pay 80 each for replacement shocks you could buy the clean set on ebay with 462 miles and springs for 99 each. I offered the guy 250 for all of them and he turned that down. At this point with your set though I think the best bet is having them rebuilt otherwise I would just sell them off and start looking for another used set or you'll end up with half as much as a set of Elka's in them.

The set i bought under 50 miles on them! one of them is leaking slightly. So im guessing the mileage isn't a very good selling point.
I didnt think these OEM shocks were rebuildable. I didnt see any signs of being able to be disassembled.

Oh wow.. the set I bought are off a '15 with 1300 miles. They look a little rough in pics but he said they weren't leaking and functioned fine when he removed them. We'll see!

The only way you are going to tell is to take the springs off. Mine looked in pretty good shape with a little over 800 miles on them. I pulled the fronts off this morning and they are in the same boat. The shock rebuilder wanted some pics of them, but it didn't sound to promising. I'll still do the upgrade but it just won't happen this year. HaHa I'll get them going next spring. Good luck.

Factory Can Am Shocks are not rebuild able. I'll have to check around for new ones. The cheapest place I found was Gearhead.com It was worth a shot. As per the above pic, it still hasn't extended so I guess I have 4 new door stops.

Made it back to the place that you mailed my bushings to and opened them up, they look beautifully machined and I slipped them into the Gabriel Hijakers and they fit completely perfect. Thank you very much for these tj!!!!

What kind of spring compressors are you all using? I rented a kit from Auto Zone but they're a little too big for the springs and I'm afraid they'll pop off.
