Somebody mentioned a cheap aftermarket version the other day.. I think they were off an old sports car but seemed to work well on the p5 and were around $60 each.Well sh@$#&t yall scared the mess out of me, I thought I had over paid.

O well I gut this now so I'll enjoy them. But thanks anyway. ,Somebody mentioned a cheap aftermarket version the other day.. I think they were off an old sports car but seemed to work well on the p5 and were around $60 each.
I think @Dp5hunter is pulling our legs... lolI don't think AK could have gotten them any cheeper. He gut he's for free. .
About $950 cheaper... lolWell u know here in Mississippi it's much cheaper than in AK.
Very cool AKRider, the weight and price are a little surprising, but that thing looks very durable.
Top of the morning to ya Dp5!!!!Good morning yall hope yall had a good night sleep. Time to rise and shine on this beautiful winter day.
I'd build you one but I'm not sure my aluminum welding skills are good enough to be for sale! The best deal would be if my buddy Tflynn went over to Auburn mid March when the trailer rolls out, picked it up and took it to his shop and fabed me one welded.
Very cool. Strong Made has great products. These shocks you're installing the Canadian upgrades??Hopefully tomorrow I may be able to post some pics on here of my latest upgrades. I had to cancel my cargo rack build. They were going to charge me over $500 to build it. It was going to be 48in L X 25in D. looks like I will be bying a strong made instead for $230 46in L X 24in D and cutting it and putting a tailgate on it. And Btw I will be installing my new Honda upgraded front shocks, $130 by Friday.
That's awesome, hadn't even heard of that. Can you post some pics of what you're working with?No I'm building the doors out of this but it's very forgiving if you can work wood it would be the same type of thing. You can router, sand, cut and do everything the same even screw into it without predrill. Think of it as plywood but more flexible It glues with PVC cement and since it's plastic it would never rust or need paint. Slightly less weight as well. I will be doing a dry box from it probably for the Takeover because I could build it to my exact specs for less then buying something to make do.
Consider at least looking it up and see what you think for your application but I think a box screwed and glued together from this stuff would damn near fall from a plane without damage.

Just do like I do when welding steel, gob it up then get that grinder out and smooth and shape it nice and smooth and pretty.I'd build you one but I'm not sure my aluminum welding skills are good enough to be for sale!
