Yea thats right brother and Btw Spanish was my first language witch is spelled foneticaly and that's why English is so difficult for me. English has some crazy letters in some words and they do nothing in the words but complicate there spelling.

Well, I'm thinking no more than it is I'll just do it out of 1/8" 1x1 or 1x1-1/2 steel no bigger than it is. I figure it at 20 lbs. based on a chart I found for metal weights. Then I can weld it myself and have it powder coated.

I think you could go say, 1/16...Maybe 1/8" wall on the 2x2 square for the receiver. The rest of the basket part I think you'd be good with 1/16" wall, 1.25x1.25 square. That really wouldn't be too heavy.

Indeed you did CP, well then by all means, that's what I'd use, absolutely no concerns about moisture then. I'm a bit concerned about the effects of this many miles on just a painted plywood box.

Ah, folks do it all the time. Don't forget, this former body man has a truck or two for waterproofing as well.

I think the wood will hold up fine. I like the plastic stuff, but it is kind of spendy, most travel trailers are little more than a plywood box on wheels. There will be multiple layers of waterproofing on all 6 sides.
