Ok, went out and tried it again just now. Up and down shifted just fine.
I had been expecting the same feel, sound and action that I get when going up and down through the gears on the P5. I guess I was expecting a manual transmission, and an automatic transmission, lol. This is like pulling the tree selector to 1 on the automatic transmission in my car, and then moving it to 2 when I want and so on.

I installed my roof and windshield on the P1K yesterday! It took twice as long as it should have with no instructions in the box! But that Honda one piece hardcoat is bad ass. If anything ever happens to the AM windscreen on my P5 it will be replaced with honda
's. First mods with the PROTC in mind. I have to add that the bed and tailgate on the P1K is light duty and will not withstand the abuse on the ranch that I've given my Polaris Ranger. A good reason to keep it to use for hauling rock, building terraces and rock cages.

I've beat my bed pretty hard. With a bed mat I think you'd be impressed with how much s*** it will take. Where's the pics?

I'm doing a side by side comparison of the two. The bed isn't my complaint so much as the sides and tailgate. There's just no comparison between the two. The Polaris will remain the rough service ranch vehicle.

I've been collecting accessories for the P1K. Winch is in and Mystic switch panel. Much as I hate the price, I'll be ordering the Honda upper doors and rear panel. Need to order mirrors and turn signal kit next.

Why the upper doors? Rear panel is a necessity for sure.
I've spent ample time in Wyoming and Montana, even in June, it can be quite chilly in the mornings. Then you start moving at 35-45 mph with the wind blowing in on you and it can be quite uncomfortable. Also, if it's raining. Remember mopar, I'll have a genteel along with me. I need cocktails and congicals along the way, not an angry squaw. :D

Online mostly. Unless maybe your local dealer has them in stock.
