That’s beautiful. This is exactly what I’m planning to do also. Only thing I may do different is make the sides at least the first 6” is make them a little higher toward the front and along the back. How did you fasten it to the rack??

I installed this today. This is an old roof rack I took off of a golf cart. I repainted it and installed with some U bolts. I think it turned out pretty good.

My buddy has a Rincon with similar metal racks. While useful, they vibrate and rattle and are a bit loud. For a working buggy, that's fine but for a hunting rig that's no bueno. Can you guys running these metal racks comment on this? Do yours rattle?

I wrapped the factory rack on the back of the Pioneer with pipe insulation then I clamped the rack to it and clamped it down tight on the pipe insulation.
I only took a short test drive- but the rack was quiet. It was certainly not able to be heard over the gas engine.

Little Red's back rack does not rattle. For now I am using 18 heavy duty zip ties to hold it in place.20190902 130011 20190902 130011 20190902 130026

I used zip ties to secure my rack’s metal mesh to the Honda rear tube rack. No noise.

Looks good. My suggestion is to screw in mounting hardware on the sides of the box to attach bungie cords to tie down straps when needed.

It's tough to see in the pics, but there are two loops on the inside wall of each side. I sprayed them with the bed liner too and may add two more on the other sides. I'll be putting an industrial mat on the floor and adding some sort of gun rack.
