Yes they do. Google <black worm clamps>. Or, use U clamps- that’s what holds mine to the Honda rack (4). Invest the extra buck in self-locking nylon insert bolts.

I’d be leery of the plastic tie fatiguing from time, vibration and temperature snd failing.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced rear universal rack/basket, I have this one. Its 41" wide and has held up well. I think I paid just over $100 for mine. A lot cheaper than the "Strongmade". I noticed this site is selling them for $88.47 (after rebate) with free shipping.

They have a picture of one on a P500.

I think I may actually have one of those in my conex that I was going to put on my Brute Force 300. Never even thought about it for my P5.

Here is a pic of it on my P500. There was a small gap on each side near the cab. I attached a couple of plastic ammo boxes to keep things from sliding out. Used about half the universal attaching hardware kit, and and a few hose clamps to mount it.

View attachment 156451First post....not sure if I did it right. Here is the bed I built for my 4 wheeler.
Looks good! I thought about building my own from wood as well and covering it with Herculiner bed liner to weatherproof it. It looks well made, good job! The mats a nice touch!

I got the box from NAPA. 48inch truck side box. You can get them just about anywhere.
The basket is made by Strong Made. Specifically for the P500.

Had some deck boards laying around so built this box in about 2 hours. Initially thought it was gonna be temporary but I actually really like it and will now just install hardware for a tailgate. May stain it (no, not paint, but stain, lol) black to darken the wood up to match.

If I had to make a diy wooden box again, it would have a drop down tailgate to reduce the lift for hauling heavy stuff and to slide out yard cleanup debris.

Just bought a tall slim cooler that fits in the bed perfect. No pics of that yet.

Was just scrolling through here trying to get ideas for the bed I’m going to build to coincide with my weatherguard truck side toolbox, and gotta say, this is the nicest looking 500 I’ve seen on this forum, looks practical and tastefully done. Very nice Trigger!

I don't know man, there's some pretty nice P5's on this forum but thank you. It's changed several times but this set up functions well for my uses, mainly haul gear that needs to stay dry. I just play around with the look, some stuff works and some doesn't. ;)
