Somebody needs to mount a Supertrapp exhaust on one. So they can add/subtract diffusers on it an tell us how much back pressure it does or doesn't like.

I rode the red one for an hour or more today and logged some more tuning. It's only making 3-4% adjustments which is normal. Customer service said it will always be making 3-4% adjustments based on baro pressure, altitude, etc.

I really like the way it feels but I will say that I haven't picked up any more time on my 0-40.

I did race my brother in our nearly stock 3 seater and we were dead even to 50 mph. @Delton, did you hear that? Me and you both thought that white one was quick.

I'll beat that @$$!

Seriously though, I bet I'll have you by 10' at least to 40mph. Have your stock tires on when we race!
I'd like to see how bad the 30's hurt also. I did some calcs online after your earlier post and was coming up with 10-15 HP gain to pick up that much.

That would be stellar if you picked up that much! Normally they don't leave that much on the table with stock setup. Most times if you get 2-3% with a tuner, consider yourself fortunate. They normally just good for cleaning up your map.

I thought about taking it down to Birmingham but it's like $75 dollars for the dyno and then 3 hour round trip. Also, this power commander can't just be switched off. I would need to remove the interceptor between the OEM plug and injector and do the same thing for the coil pack to revert back to stock. It's not that difficult but it would be a lot of time hanging out at the dyno.

It would be interesting to see what it picked up though.

I don't guess anyone publicly knows outside of Honda but if I was going to make a guess I would say between 60 and 65 hp.

A 10-15%, 7-11 HP on a 72 HP engine with a tuner is HUGE. I'll have to see dyno numbers to prove it, if it'll do it I'll buy one.

I forget who was saying but some one on here was saying on the street bike sceene hondas were the most detuned manufacturer around. And that they could retune the most power out of them. More so than other brands.

Its not like 72 hp out of a 1000cc twin cylinder engine is record breaking. 7-10 more hp would be sweet

Maybe not too far off because the 999cc engine is capable of much more. Also, my snorkel breathes ALOT better than stock and the exhaust tip works with the tuner.

Snuff said his felt weaker with the addition of his snorkel. That may be true because they run so lean. I noted a big difference in heat from the seat, it a lot less than compared to stock.

Guys please don't get me wrong, I wish the tuner would put 25 hp in them, and yes 72 hp out of a 1000cc engine is not impressive. There is no way to quantify butt dynos. Chassis dynos? Yes. Clocks at the drag strip? Yes. You must be able to quantify your test's.

I have a chassis dyno local, if someone want's to send me a tuner I'll pay for the dyno time and will post the A-B-A results, otherwise IMO it's conjecture.

No argument from me. I don't have easy access to a dyno but the ass dyno says it's better. My fathers stock 3 seater used to be a lot quicker and now they are dead even, and the clock from 0-40 says it's better.

I know it's still not quantified in HP but it's quantified in what matters to me.

Btw, where are you in west KY? I work in Mayfield quite often and maybe we could arrange something.

I'm about 40 minutes from Mayfield, seven miles off I-24 at exit 31.

As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters. :D

We may have to set up a date. On my next trip, I'll give you a heads up a few days in advance.

I drive by there on the way to Mayfield.
