X2, got one years ago when they first came out. Still like new and will last the life of the P500. The Quick Shield replaced my first attempt using those foil/ fabric type roll stuff which held moisture.

Absolutely this.

I have a P500 and a P520. Ran one with and one without the Quick Shield. Huge difference in noise and heat abatement.

Just installed it on my 520 yesterday!

The P5 is always gonna be a noisy machine, but the Quick Shield from member @trigger is a must.

Absolutely get a Quick Shield from Trigger. Really makes a difference.

I also put foam on the underside of the roof (Tractor Interior Upholstery) and it helped deaden reflected sound. Lastly put foam on the floor. Seemed to help somewhat but not as much as Trigger or the roof.

Thanks Prez.

This is about the biggest improvement you can make, I hear they don't do much for the dust though 🤣🤣🤣
(Sorry.....inside joke)

Making the exhaust outlet bigger helps also, seems counterintuitive but it works. Do a search on here or YouTube for info

I laid mine out on the drive way on a sunny warm day before I installed mine.

Most SxSs are annoyingly noisy IMHO. I wear foam earplugs or muffs to protect my hearing.
This reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask. @Tramguage1 , what comms system are you running? I like the headsets and hanger you had but didn't get a chance to take a closer look. I can't hear anything coming out of my TYT8600 when riding so it's mostly useless at this point.

Only thing I would do different would be a behind the head head set. That way we could wear this type of helmet.https://ampedoffroad.com/products/amped-off-road-dot-utv-open-face-helmet.

Also we absolutely love the com system. It will be in the 4 seater when we get it.
