And you can get that in and out with the seats down?
No

Got ya... I think that’s what threw them off.

Yeah.. I have a small plastic 5.56 ammo can that will fit. And then I stuff either water or straps and the such in there. It’s a great place for a couple gallons of extra bottles of water..I never thought about that. It would have to be a small box

Thanks for the pics - I did try again saw that it would work.. you must have removed or done something to the seat back part that flips up - Looked like part of it rested on the top of the pelican case.. I did not mess with it except to see that I could get it to fit

Just step on it!I just went and took a couple pics of how the seat folds on top of the case - I can push and get the seat back down enough to shut the door but there is some tension there. You can see the ledge to the right that the seat bed plastic is suppose to rest on

Harbor freight has a small pelican type case that will fit in there, but you have to take off that plastic cover that sits over the oil dipstick- Doesn't seem to serve any purpose. you also need to remove the lower seat cushion to lay the seats flat.Has anybody found a pelican type case that fits inside the rear doors yet? That would make a nice tool box storage location
