Yeah.. I have a small plastic 5.56 ammo can that will fit. And then I stuff either water or straps and the such in there. It’s a great place for a couple gallons of extra bottles of water..

I use one side for trash. That’s works ok. Would be better if it didn’t all fall out when I open the door

Thanks for the pics - I did try again saw that it would work.. you must have removed or done something to the seat back part that flips up - Looked like part of it rested on the top of the pelican case.. I did not mess with it except to see that I could get it to fit

I don’t think so? Maybe pelican slightly changed the box? I could have done something and forgot though

I just went and took a couple pics of how the seat folds on top of the case - I can push and get the seat back down enough to shut the door but there is some tension there. You can see the ledge to the right that the seat bed plastic is suppose to rest on

That just keeps it from rattling. I usually have my rear seats out anyway. And if the seats are installed I have the cushions out because the kids car seats strap down better with the cushions out.

Has anybody found a pelican type case that fits inside the rear doors yet? That would make a nice tool box storage location
Harbor freight has a small pelican type case that will fit in there, but you have to take off that plastic cover that sits over the oil dipstick- Doesn't seem to serve any purpose. you also need to remove the lower seat cushion to lay the seats flat.

I'm talking about inside the rear doors not under the seats.

Here is a little Pelican. It was a bit of messing around to get it to go in and slide next to hinges.
I don't recall the # off the top of my head. I had to open the hole way up to get it in.
1400 fits under the seat I believe. But you need to lift bed to access unless you remove the cushions.
Edit, Looks like a pelican 1120.
